A thoughtful, whole-person approach
As an Orthodox Jewish therapist, I understand the ways faith, family, community, and culture shape our lives. For many people, these are sources of strength. At the same time, they can also bring unique challenges. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling overwhelmed, you deserve a space where every part of your identity is welcomed.
There is nothing wrong with being Jewish and struggling with your mental health. Seeking help is not a sign of weak faith or personal failure. It is an act of courage and an investment in the life you want to build.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I take the time to understand your story, your goals, and what matters most to you. Together, we will identify the patterns that are keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and develop tools that create meaningful and lasting change. I draw from evidence-based therapeutic approaches while tailoring each session to your unique needs, because no two people heal in exactly the same way.
In addition to my clinical training, I hold an MBA and am currently pursuing a PhD in Social Work with a focus on the administration of social programs and social policy. This broader background shapes the way I understand the pressures people face, including the impact of family systems, community expectations, organizations, and the larger systems around them.
I also have extensive experience supporting individuals facing addiction, serious mental illness, life transitions, and emotional challenges. My background includes outpatient behavioral health, recovery services, school-based social work, and community outreach. These experiences have taught me that healing looks different for everyone, but hope and growth are always possible.
Whether this is your first time reaching out for therapy or you have been in counseling before, my goal is simple: to create a safe, respectful, and judgment-free space where you can be honest, feel understood, and move toward the life you want.
